How it Began...

The Running Maniacs started as three people that were looking for someone to run with.  Susan McKenna, Mary Anne Slemon, and Heather Pereira met two times per week at 5:30a.m. in Bowmanville.  People started calling them "maniacs" for being so dedicated and running in all weather conditions.  

Well the name stuck and hence The RUNNING MANIACS were born.

The size of the group has grown but the focus remains the same; people running with people in all weather conditions.
